Gray and I had the pleasure of flying back home for Christmas, it was a nice escape from the freezing cold. We shot Jason + Janessa’s wedding on the 19th, did a few more things and now we’re just enjoying. We spent the 2nd year in a row abusing this santa suit. Made lots of cookies, took a million photos and ate a lot of crap :]
the beauty of having lots of family over is that Jackie has to sleep in between mom and dad.. and Stanley and Charlie- hahaha. And my mom would punch me in the face if she saw this photo on our blog… hahaha

So, to put a rather large damper on our awesome Christmas, we had to put Charlie to sleep on the 28th 
Charlie is (of all the dogs we’ve had) the best one (sorry Stanley) and my oh so favorite. No one was happy about it, but he’s 13 now and… yah. So the night before we took some last photos with the boy. He used to be my little model back in high school photo class. I’d set up a studio and take pictures of him, haha. So a little tribute to our Char Char Bing.
looks like a wonderful time with your family. i want to see that book with the cats and the wigs. haha as for charlie, i know how hard it is to not have your pup around, he sounds like quite the dog. we had our chocolate lab for 17yrs she passed away this year, she too was my first model.
can i just say i think your grandma is awesome! so is your mom (no, thats not a mom joke haha). sorry about Charlie too
