Michelle and Janusz were married at the Golden Gardens Park in Seattle. We’ve shot there once before and it’s such a pretty location. It’s this awesome park along the ocean that everyone flocks to the second the weather is good. And this couple was as DIY as they come! They made or collected EVERYTHING. She even made and decorated her own wedding cakes, pretty awesome. They lived in this amazing artist loft in the coolest building owned by some friends and had the best dog we’ve ever seen in a wedding. Sandy… Oh Sandy! So you’ll see how great and home made this wedding was. They even made Sandy a collar to carry the ring down the isle, so stinkin cute!
So enjoy this wedding as much as we did! They started the day with a brunch for the guest where they collected tons of unique salt and pepper shakers for the tables. They even made little pies on a stick!
They screen printed these napkins!
The brunch is over, back to decorating her wedding cakes.
Oh Sandy…..
Janusz picked these shoes out for Michelle before she even bought a dress!
Last minute sewing of his shirt and the brides maid dresses {which she made!}
Last minute hair cut?
The ring pillow they made and screen printed for Sandy.
We did their first look on the roof of their building overlooking the skyline.
Have you even seen anything like this??? Amazing right! Her friends made it after the brunch!
I won’t repeat what was said here, but it was awesomely inappropriate- our favorite :]
Collected tea cups for the brunch and reception
Their friend owns this building, it’s sort of an artist living space and they built this grass spot out front just for Sandy :]
Her good friend Jenni did a lot of behind the scenes work that day including making all of these invites, she owns a letter press company called Wendu Ink which we’re planning on working with coming up!
They put this front door set up together that day on site!
Sandy wasn’t really cooperating so he went and brought her down the isle, haha
He and his friends are glass blowers so they made all these vases and hung them from the ceiling {sccarrryyyy}
