North Carolina is so amazingly beautiful! We arrived and even the area around the airport was beautiful!! So obviously, shooting this wedding was pure joy. Plus Tanner and Jenny were so nice and so cute together. We shot their rehersal dinner so got to talk to them a bit there. It was funny, I didn’t really get a chance to talk to Jenny at all until we started doing their photos. BUT, Jenny’s mom told me {in the bathroom} how excited Jenny was to have us there, that she looked at 500 {a possible exaggeration} photographers and “had to have” us! What a compliment!!! That made me really happy… our bathroom moment, haha.

So.. this beautiful wedding took place in a small chapel with a small cemetery across the street {I LOVE cemeteries for some reason} in Davidson. The reception was supposed to be this huge, outdoor party with an old barn as the bar and a big grass lawn. But.. alas.. it rained {luckily they planned for this and got a tent}. Either way it was t the Beaver Dam House and it was beautiful! I have a sweet spot for really old, historic houses.. and old barns of course so we were all over this wedding. It turned out great, everyone had an awesome time and we ate the best food I’ve ever had. I’m starting to love southern food more and more… oooh sweet tea :)

After the wedding everyone was staying at the same hotel and we ended up at the “after party” with Tanner’s family.. It was hilarious, most of us were already in our pajamas. We all had to go around in a circle and say how old we were/with who/where we had our first kiss… haha. Needless to say.. this wedding was fan-freakin-tastic!

a family tradition with Molly

They picked this amazing bridge to do their first look on, it was perfect.

We… love… old barns.

ok I only put this one in because it was the best dinner I’ve ever had at a wedding- ever…. so… stinkin … good.

this is what we like to call “being in the moment”… haha

i love sparklers!

the sparkler ran out before the photo was over :]
